1991

How it all started

Foundation of the company in Munich by Marion Hartmann. In her previous job as marketing director of an international high-tech company, she realized how difficult it was to find exclusive promotional and employee clothing at a good price in the market, or really individual advertising materials and accessories. The idea of self-employment was born.

1992 – 1994

Spiritual development

Expansion of the company with more than 20 employees. The motto of the company: "What is special about the price of the ordinary" emerges and is still one of the most important maxims of ARTiS. That's why the company ventured into Hong Kong in 1992, founding the "Three A Limited" there and expanding the structure with other production partners throughout China.

1994 – 2005

Go new ways

Another major milestone in the company's history was its involvement in a textile factory in China in 1994 to produce high-quality textile products for the European market. Closely followed by the founding of "ARTiS Fashion Limited China" in 1995 with its own fashion label for the Chinese market. ARTiS Fashion Limited produces exclusive women's fashion and is still one of the top foreign brands in China with more than 200 fashion stores and ever growing sales.

2005 – 2010

The Extension

Further production facilities followed as well as the extensive expansion of the network of manufacturers, own employees and quality assurance on site in India and China. In addition, the maintenance and expansion of our partners in Turkey, Portugal, Italy, Romania and the Czech Republic.

2011 - 2016

Expansion of the structure

2016 saw the move to a larger office in Martin-Kollar-Str. 12 in Munich with an inviting showroom, in-house photo studio and large warehouse and distribution center. Since then, customers have benefited from years of experience and absolute full service. All items are individually tailored to each company, its corporate identity, customer needs and target groups. From concept and design through production and quality assurance to the aforementioned e-commerce solutions (web shops) and logistics, everything comes from a single source.

2019 until today

Together we are strong

ARTiS stands since 1991 for highest quality at manufacturer prices, but also for a large cohesion within the team and good contact with our customers. In the centre of an ever globalising world, we are constantly confronting new challenges and passionately implementing our innovative concepts and collections.
